Kimberly is currently the Pediatric Asthma Program Manager at Banner Children’s at Cardon Childrens Medical Center & co-lead for the Pediatric Asthma Strategic Initiative for Banner Health. Kimberly graduated with her associate degree in nursing from Gateway Community College & completed her BSN with Grand Canyon University. Kimberly has recently graduated in a Doctorate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Arizona State University. Kimberly is the co-chair of the Arizona Asthma Coalition. She created the Banner Children’s Asthma Support Group open to the public to meet quartley for educational family fun activities. Kimberly assists with organizing asthma education at respiratory camps and is the lead nurse for medical staff volunteers for Camp Soaring Eagle to assist children with asthma to attend respiratory camps three times a year. She also volunteers for the American Lung Association to help recruit children to Camp Not A Wheeze in Arizona. Kimberly’s passion comes from her daughter, who was diagnosed with asthma at the young age of 4 years. Kimberly was born in South Dakota but her childhood was in Tempe, Arizona. She loves to travel and is a certified scuba diver.. |
